This was my third stay at Ibis on Bencoolen. After check-in found there was no frig. in the room. At reception I was told all refrigs. were being renovated. After some discussion they said frig. would probably be available in 2 days. This did not happen . Talking to other guests, I found some rooms on my floor had a frig. Many guests were buying ice from deli next door. Of course this melted overnight. The hotel solution was to offer space in the bar frigs. on the ground floor, to store your perishables. I did not take this option. Many guests were very dissatisfied (as I was) with this situation. It is unlikely that I will stay at this hotel again.

If you want a short stopover this hotel will do it , with no frills, basic room with faciliies, open clothes rack, ,very overpriced witout breakfast, only plus point excellent wi-fi in bedrooms. well done and is FREE, not often ibis give u anything for free,

The staff were very friendly. But the room was too small for 2 people. But very functional and biz travel friendly.

Still quite new the hotel and good standards applied. Loacation is very good an many facilities close by. Quite expensive though and my rate did not include breakfast.

The hotel is centrally located with a subway station within close walking distance & a bus-stop right outside the hotel. It is very easy to use as a base to get around the city.

Hotel Rates are very competitive compared with similar hotels. Rooms are small but layout is well thought out. Hotel is ldeal for a few days stay. Downside, Fridge is too small, bigger size fridge could easily be accomodated.

Excellent location. Busstop in front of Hotel. Little India at walking distance. Sim Lim square around the corner. Hotel has all you need for a short stay. free wireless internet in rooms.

The hotel is walking distance from MRT, shops and market. Staff are very helpful in providing directions and mode of transportation to major tourist areas in Singapore. Bedroom is quite small including personal refrigerator that cannot accommodate even a small bottle of mineral water. Overall, I recommend the hotel to travellers requiring a bed to sleep and a place near the MRT and shopping areas.

Ideally this hotel would only be used for short stays of 2 or 3 nights. The room though clean and tidy was very small. The staff i encountered we're friendly and helpful, Jai on reception was very helpful and i'm grateful for her assistance. Not ideally situated, quite a walk to the nearest underground station, but for the length of stay (3 nights) it served its purpose well.

I booked this hotel because I'm familiar with IBIS Hotels in Europe and I had to make a quick reservation.
I did make a good choise; price is good and the staff is very friendly and helpfull; Internet for free and coffee on your room.
There is not much luxury but if you do not want to pay for that then you have a very good hotel

The hotel is very nice, money worthy, convenience location, is just a little thing would make your service excellent if the front desk staff know how to smile a little more :), feel like they he is not so hospitality when i came at the time for check-in...
