Reviewer: Robert Murfet Date of review: 31 August 2007 Recommends this hotel: YES Recommended for: Business, Leisure, Singles, Couples Room Hotel Facilities 4 Bed 4 Ambience 4 Cleanliness 3 Service 5 Room Size 1 Location 4 Amenities 4 Value for Money 5 Good- Good value for money, bed comfortable, linen clean, easy access to city, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfasts substantial, well cooked and presented and not expensive , reception/ dining area neat and tidy, well sound proofed rooms- no noise from other rooms Bad- very small room, tiny and rather uncomfortable space for 2 people to sit in if in room for any length of time - inadequate hanging space and shelves for longer stay, bathroom could have been cleaner- shower bay floor grubby, Overall impressions- generally good. If we return to Newcastle we would not be unhappy to stay at Ibis again and would recommend to friends
