Good- Good value for money, bed comfortable, linen clean, easy access to city, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfasts substantial, well cooked and presented and not expensive , reception/ dining area neat and tidy, well sound proofed rooms- no noise from other rooms

Bad- very small room, tiny and rather uncomfortable space for 2 people to sit in if in room for any length of time - inadequate hanging space and shelves for longer stay, bathroom could have been cleaner- shower bay floor grubby,

Overall impressions- generally good. If we return to Newcastle we would not be unhappy to stay at Ibis again and would recommend to friends
