The hotel doesn't go by its reputation. It is well located and pricey. It should have been a hotel of decent standard, so as we thought. For a branch owned by a big company, this hotel has poor management and ineffective communication between one another. Our requirements for a room with a double bed was promised but not delivered. It was either 2 single beds or switch to a family room on ground floor with no view. Yet there was nothing that the hotel staff could help out with. It was a disappointing experience, though I have nothing negative to say about the service.

I loved the way we walked out of the Hotel straight into the Darling Harbour area where everything was happening. It was close to the fish market as well. Really enjoyed.

Excellent position, a short walk to th Monorail and Darling Harbour itself.

The room was basic, but very clean, bed comfortable and the shower excellent - lots of hot water during cold weather.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Evening meal very good also the breakfast - plenty of food and a lot of variety.

I would recommend this hotel to visitors to Sydney.

The Hotel's location is very good at Darling Harbour. It has got excellent access to darling side Mall , Bus/ tram centre as well as monorail. Room I stayed was not that big but was nice and clean. The Hotel staff was also co-operative. Despite my early arrival I was accomodated in . Breakfast I found was good, however the menu was kept same all throught my stay. It should be changed daily I feel.

Hotel location was the key factor in choosing accommodation -- our conference was at the Maritime Museum.

We particularly enjoyed the evening meals, and must compliment the deserts cook!

My wife and I were on the 6th floor with a harbourside view. The view was fantastic, as was the location (a short stroll to darling harbour). We had no dramas with service. The room was small but sufficient. We would stay again.
