Dear Shahrizal, Even though my daughter and I were guests of the Hotel Ibis in Brisbane for one night only, we were pleasantly surprised. It's location was just right for us, as among other things, we needed to make use of your City's Transit Station which was an easy walking distance. Our room was much larger than we had anticipated, with plenty of room to move around. Decor was attractive, and everything needed such as ironing facilities and a travel case table, were there. The spotless bathroom was quite spacious, too, with a generous supply of soap and towels. With tea and coffee making facilities, and a TV to relax with - what more could one ask. Quite the home away from home. And, I must add, the staff were most courteous and more than helpful with our enquiries. On occasions, it's difficult to get your bearings in a strange city, but with your staff's assistance we had no trouble at all in finding our way around, and being made aware of the facilities available to us. When next we are to stay in your lovely city of Brisbane, we shall have no hesitation in making our reservations at the Hotel Ibis, hopefully for a much longer stay. Warm Regards, Maxine Harris. Very good location, proximity of trains and malls, superbly clean and large. The View was perfect.

Staff were very very friendly but I think the bar fridges in the room should have items for selection. i.e. chips, chocolates and drinks. This is common for the hotels I stay at and I should not have to go outside the hotel to get this.

I had a great time at the Ibis hotel. I just stayed for seven days but I had the time to appreciate the hotel and its surroundings.

The Ibis is well located: you can reach Queen Street and all the shops by a 5 mn walk! It's great!

Plus, there's a 7 eleven on the other side!

The staff was really lovely especially Enola. I forgot one of my bags and my camera in the plane and she did everything for me to get it back! I wish I could thank her the way she deserved it but I didn't see her before leaving... So thank you Enola 100.000.000 times!

There's just 3 negative points:
- We weren't able to get room service: we had to order the food and collect it ourselves at the restaurant
- The business center only counts 2 computers...that don't work sometimes! The internet pages can't be loaded completely sometimes...
- The restaurant is not lively and a bit dark...

Anyway, the Ibis hotel is great for people who don't want to spend too much money but still want quality and a great & comfortable bed to sleep in every night !!

Location was very central, only a 5 min walk to most sights of interest
Only thing to complain about (and it is a small thing) is I had to ring reception to remind them to bring the cot we had reserved up to our room, which they then did within 15 minutes.

Very friendly, helpful and competent staff on reception.

Would definately recommend the hotel to others who may be visiting the city.

To the attention of hotel management: I left a scarf in my room on the day of departure and although I called twice to inquire, the housekeeping staff had not brought it to the reception and it was not found - reception staff had no access to anybody who could be of help. This can happen to any tired business traveler (I could have forgotten a more valuable item) and knowing that the housekeeping staff is honest can make a big difference in a choice of hotel. i would recommend this hotel, good value for money and in a central location.

the twin queen room was large and of a modern design with a large bathroom.

Did not eat there so cannot comment on the food

I couldn't fault the service,the location is excellent and reception was good. The bed and linen was of extremely high quality although the bed was firmer than I am used to.

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance from shopping and river. Room was a generous size with plenty of room for our luggage. We arrived early but were able to go straight to our room which was great. Desk staff helpful and friendly.

The staff is friendly & accomodating. The location is close to Queen St. Mall & other attractions. The price is good. The room is just enough for a short stay. The bathtub is deep enough for a nice soak. There are the regular useful appliances: hot water maker, hair dryer, ironing board & iron.
