Hydro Hotel Penang is a resort and conference hotel which was completely refurbished and renovated to a modern and stylish, with high standard in 2007/2008.Strategically located, Hydro Hotel Penang formerly Hydro Hotel Penang Batu Ferringhi is situated opposite the shores and features a private overhead pedestrian bridge from its poolside to the picturesque Miami Beach.
All of the Hydro Hotel Penang's guest rooms have a stunning view of the Andaman Sea, some at least partially and are spacious and contemporary- giving a comfortable feel. Hotel facilities do support the atmosphere of being in comfort,whilst the picturesque beach is reached via a private overhead bridge directly from the hotel's pool side across the Batu Ferringhi Road.
There guests can find a leisurely relaxing place many have been searching for,to relieve the everyday stress. The much sought after massage at the poolside tent being a secret tip,shopping arcade with saloon for any essentials. Recommendation:   By Mr.Ronnie Chin  Singapore This hotel is situated between batu ferringhi beach and the city, thus recommended for families staying for leisure. The hotel is generally clean with friendly staff at the lobby.
the frontdesk staff are friendly but in my opinion their work ... performance is too slow. I had to wait fairly long around 20 minutes for them to clear the customers before i can check-in.
the main complaint i have is the carpark ramp. Its too narrow, and coupled with narrow driveway, its extremely difficult to maneuver my car without scratching it against the ramp. The hotel should fix this immediately, otherwise they have to prepare extra external parking lots for larger cars.
Recommendation:  By Mr.Jaizan Zuki  Malaysia Overall, the hotel is great for couples to have romantic experiences due to its location which is near to a splendid beach. It is also quite isolated.
kudos to the staff providing the services !!
however, the hotel is quite far ... from the nearest town for guests to do shopping, dinning, etc.
