The resort is fully self-contained. It is away from all the other hotels and resorts in Batu Ferringhi, but only costs a few ringgits for a taxi ride to the main beach where all the restaurants and night markets are. The fact that the resort is away from the hustle and bustle would be a plus for travellers wanting peace and quiet. It was a pleasur to stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful, and they had a tour desk which organised our tour around Penand which proved to be value for money.

Now call "Hydro Majestic" and is badly in need of renovation in dining area and especially pool. Not in Ferrangi Beach-about 10min bus ride. Very happy with room - had balcony with ocean view.

I was not informed that the hotel had changed its name, which resulted in a bit of a delay in finding the hotel. The balcony arrangements allow people in the next room to see into your room from their balcony. Some thought should be given to installing partitions to ensure greater privacy.

Hotel is a little distant from main area of Batu Ferringhu beaches and the dining area is in need of renovation as it looks "tired" Room had recently been renovated and was excellent in every respect - including the views.

The rooms is full of ants near the safe n to the walls. Er... check in written is 11-2pm when there at 11.30 cun get a room till 2pm. So might as well indicate 2pm than we should not be there early to wait. The reception girls even tell me that i'm lucky as some guest check out early. But I thought suppose to be 12:00????

1 . There is no air condition and very warm at the Cafe. 1 . Water leaking from air cond when I check in.

PLEASE PLACE A RUBBER MAT ON THE BATH TAB INORDER TO AVOID SLIP.

The swimming pool is not very clean. The view is not very beautiful. There are some noise.

the location will depend on whetehr you want an inner city situation /along the beach or The room was very smelly

Everything was just right! I was more than satisfied with my experience there. Far superior than what I had expected from a 3 star hotel.

Routine maintenance had not been carried out but after a mild complaint everything was put in order.
