Cards to open door/operate lifts seldom worked. Hotel advertises 1/2 day rates, on requesting this we were told full rates would apply but we could only have the room for a further 4 hours. We then requested a smaller room as we were flying to the UK later that day and wanted to make the most of our time in Sydney and wanted to return for shower before departing for the airport. Once again they said only 4 hours would apply whilst full rate for a family room would still have to be paid even for a smaller room.

Very comfortable, clean and bright with a wonderful view of the park. Main road situation can be noisy if you are a light sleeper or jet lagged.

A lot of traffic noise from Elizabeth Street and noisy yobos in Hyde Park late at night.
