One of the worst hotel experiences of my life. I've traveled all over the world and have never been this upset with a hotel. We spent two days at your hotel, and were going to spend another 3 days when we returned from our Baltic cruise, but canceled and stayed somewhere else instead. The first night we arrived in London, we pulled up to the hotel (which by the way had a different name than we were told)and saw nothing but garbage. Not only garbage bins, but garbage bags and boxes and just unsightly crap. My 11-year-old son actually commented on the mess first. I would be embarrassed to bring anyone by this establishment. When we got to our room, I was amazed at how small the room was for a family of 4. However, the worst part was the temperature in the room. We tried to adjust the thermostat but to no avail. We called the front desk and were informed FOR THE FIST TIME, that they had no air conditioning!! We tried to open one of the windows and found that because of the remodeling of the hotel, the window wouldn't even open up more than a few inches because the crown molding came down from the ceiling and blocked the window! We went to walk around London hoping the room would cool down during the evening enough for us to be able to sleep. When we returned, the room was even hotter. It must have been 100 degrees in that room. That was only part of the problem, but I don't feel like wasting any more of my time to explain. Horrible experience.

A said before, the hotel was lacking amenities and convenience because of the "building site" still being there. As soon as everything is finished I am pretty sure, it will be a very nice place - overpriced as usual in London but with a great location, nice rooms and helpful staff. The hotel had just re-opened a week before my stay and was still undergoing structural alteration works - which led to the staff changing my room without telling me, and various things (like coat hangers) missing in the new room. Since I only stayed for one night that wasn't really tragic. One should be aware though that even the "double room" in this hotel is pretty tiny. The bathrooms on the other hand are really nice, all new, sparkling, with big showers and nice furniture.

There is no bar in this Hotel even though it advertises one. This means it is no more than a stopover point. The lobby is a small and cold place so there is nowhere to relax. The hotel though clean and quiet has nothing else going for it other than its excellent location and reasonable price. The Room was TINY!No room to move or store anything. It was just about ok for a short weekend break but would have been terrible if we were staying any longer than that. Also the TV was not properly wired to the cable so there was ver poor reception on it. A small point but worth mentioning.
