Public spaces are well maintained but rooms are pretty shabby. They are not well maintained and not thoroughly cleaned. Maintainance is lousy. However, the staff are helpful and once complined, things do get fixed. But when you are on holidays, you should not be spending time complaining...

This is more of business hotel. There's no kids playroom that families with small kids can take their smaller child to play indoor.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now. Once for business and this time with family for a holiday. It was great for both visits. the children loved the pools. Only complaint would be the large charges if you had wanted to borrow a kayak which we saw nobody use probably because of the cost. Location great and hotel lovely.

Stayed at the hotel a few years ago. Fantastic location. Rooms nice, try and get a ground floor beach facing room if possible these are great. Good atmosphere.

A few minor negative ponits, by malaysian standards the food (especially breakfast) was not fantastic. The rooms are starting to look a little tired, compared with my last visit.

Staff charming, good night entertainment.

The reception staff was most courteous and helpful. One cannot help but notice the smiles behind the counter.
The best was still to come during our dinners and breakfast during our 2 day stay. We wondered how the wonderfully trained staff could keep up their smiles with their very hectic schedule on the Saturday evening and still attend to our requests. I had an Australian couple with us and to say that they were most impressed may be an understatement. The executive chef was even helping out in the kitchen during the hectic hours and still had the time to drop by our table for a few words! The last morning at breakfast the GM himself attended to a very minor problem we encountered. We were terribly impressed with him and his staff. I dare say that this was the best hotel we ever stayed in be it 5 star or 6 star judging from the level of service that we experienced.
Will we be back? You bet!. Our grateful thanks to all the staff for having made or stay so memorable.

It was a lovely relaxing holiday place- ideal for unwinding and the food was excellent. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff from groundsman to manager. They were al just wonderful. Hopefully we will return and will certainly tell our friends in NZ about the place.

again having paid such high room-rates and without breakfast thrown in at that, its kinda disappointing...neverthelss i appreciate the earlier check-in and delayed check-out till 3pm seeing the hotel was fully booked. having paid for such a room rate, i'd expected the furnishings to be more polished and upgraded.
