The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. There was a misunderstanding about the inclusion of breakfast but once that was rectified the room rate was good value. The choice of restaurants is fantastic with good food and cakes from the delicatessen. Room service is also excellent value. The hotel is in a good area with a choice of shopping centres, cafes and restaurants nearby (would especially recommend Little Italy restaurant - fantastic). We would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to anyone.

Hyatt Regency Kinabalu Rocks! The suite was excellent. However, there was a stale smell when we entered the room and taking the clue from us the bell boy who escorted us acted immediately and asked the housekeeping to spray Air-freshner. Location of the hotel meant a world to us. It is so central with lot of Dining options. Overall I would strongly recommend to opt for this hotel if you can live without beach front hotels.
