Only flaw if any was that furnishings were old but very comfortable. One of best hotels in Auckland

We found the hotel to have everything we needed to relax and take a stroll around the main areas of Auckland. Staff were consistently helpful and friendly, even when very busy. Little touches made all the difference, such as an umbrella offered for the rain, and nibbles at our table when having a drink at the bar. We will definitely be back for a longer stay at the Hyatt Regency Auckland.

There was no shopping within the hotel.
