Our stay was only one night on our way back to Australia after our first trip to New Zealand. We found the hotel to have everything we needed to relax and take a stroll around the main areas of Auckland. Staff were consistently helpful and friendly, even when very busy. Little touches made all the difference, such as an umbrella offered for the rain, and nibbles at our table when having a drink at the bar. We will definitely be back for a longer stay at the Hyatt Regency Auckland.

see above especially re staff. These comments apply to the suite we were given at a cost of $30 extra + loss of club privileges when we complained first room in old building although a club room was very small. Suite outstanding in new building. Staff extremely pleasanrt and helpful, hotel generally very good.

We were promised free parking, but were charged $30for 2 nights($15 per night). We probably would have used different accomodations had we not been told by you that parking would cost no extra.
