Dirty wall in bedroom, plug of basin did not work and water was not hot in either basin or shower. When I complaimed I was told that was because everyone was havng baths at the same time and the heating system could not cope.

A booking was made for two rooms for 4 adult and we were booked into a family room with a double bed and a sofa bed in the lounge with access to the bathroom over the sofa bed. Highly unacceptable.

The hotel was very well presented from the moment we stepped through the front door. The staff were exceptionally friendly and willing to assist, even though I spoke very little French. Closely located to the Eiffel Tower, sightseeing buses and the Metro, the Hotel Eiffel was an excellent choice of Hotel for the first-timer to Paris. The hotel room was very clean and well presented. The housekeeping service to the room was excellent and very welcoming at the end of a very busy day of sightseeing.

our first night the room was very poor and smelt but we were upgraded for the next 2 nights and that room was excellent and made all the difference

better value for money than in comparable large cities we visited

Good breakfeast Very small room but everything was in there. In addition it was newly renovated. As a short time tourist I want a comfortable room but I do not want to pay for size.

The room was quite cold during day and night. When we first arrived at the hotel there was no hot water in our room. We also thought that the breakfast was very expensive at 10 euros.

Could not gain access to our room on last night due to a faulty lock. Had to wait from 23h30 till 01h30. Hotel punch lock out, refused to get lock smith!

I would recommend this hotel to value conscious travelers. If you have lots of money, and want everything as you would find it in a Sheraton, this might not be the hotel for you. I love to travel, and I loved the location. I felt very safe. The location is incredible! The Metro, trains etc. are right there! The morning breakfast was delightful. The effort your staff put into making it so pleasant was very much appreciated. The staff couldn't be more helpful or patient. The restaurant next door was perfect when tired tourist headed home, and wanted an easy meal.

The facilities were just enough, no frills, it had a coffee maker, refrigerator, and tv which was enough for us. The elevator was quite small though. Receptions were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower, although you can't see it from the hotel itself. it was accessible to both metro and bus stations. I find it a bit expensive although compared to other Paris hotels, it's ok if you're just planning the hotel as a comfortable place to sleep at night. The room was quite small, although the it was well lit and clean. There were no air conditioners but the weather was great when we went (3rd week of July) which still had cool nights where we could leave the windows open, but I wouldn't recommend it for summer.

Had phoned to change one room to a treble and was assured that this was no problem. On arrival, the treble room was not available until second day. Lift very small,which was a problem as we had three elderly ladies in our company. Extremely small bathroom and shower. Not enough wardrobe space.
