The Hotel Du Bois is a gem, just around the corner from the Arc de Triomphe. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. And the price is fantastic for its location!

If there was one thing that could be improved it would be to put ventilation in the bathrooms. The bathroom in our room sometimes smelled like mildew (and you could see a little bit up high up on the walls). But the bathroom itself was very clean.

One thing to keep in mind - I don't think there is an elevator (we didn't see one and we didn't ask, so I'm not positive!) so be prepared to lug your stuff up the stairs to the hotel itself, and then up to the floor where your room is located.

We really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

JUST LIKE TO SAY WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR STAY, THE HOTEL STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ROOMS CLEAN. THE POSITION OF THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT AND RIGHT IN THE CENTRE OF THINGS, CLOSE TO THE METRO AND ALL OTHER TRANSPORT ASWELL.

We had a very nice stay in the Hotel du Bois. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room, although small was clean and comfortable. Just near the Arc de Triomphe, it was n ideal location for a first time visit to Paris.

We could have done with tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and the breakfast room was really a bit small for the number of guests. However this meant generally sharing tables, which led to us meeting lots of nice people.

Happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently situated, generally clean, breakfast was fresh and the coffe was good although there was not enough room for all the guests and we had to queue. A larger breakfast room is needed. But I would recommend it to others and would have no problems staying there again.

Hotel du Bois is centrally located, a stone's throw from the Arc du Triomphe. Stayed two nights and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel to singletons who can't afford 4* but want a place that's clean and comfortable.

Great value for money especially when considering the location, which was excellent. Excellent size and very clean with only one flight of stairs to climb.

Very well run hotel. Clean and comfortable with excellent customer service. We would not hesitate in recommending Hotel du Bois to our friends. The room was rather small but very comfortable and pleasantly quiet which was important to us.

receptionist seemed to busy too deal with our enquiries and frustrated when we approached reception. He made us feel uncomfortable about asking for anything. was offerred room with courtyard view which turned out to be a view of a roof and fire escape

The staff was extremely helpful and professional and the breakfasts were wonderful. The location of Holtel Du Bois allows for easy access to shopping,transportation and areas of interest. It was very clean and safe. I have already recommended it to a number of people. The washroom was larger than I had expected and obviously newly renovated. It was a pleasant surprise

No A/C. Also, you had to drags your bags up a flight of stairs.... not at street level.
