If you're going solo and just want to shop, Capitol hotel is right smack in the Bukit Bintang. Food is a stone's throw from the entrance. Good value for those travelling alone who wants value for money, clean hotel with locations, locations, locations.

It does tend to get noisy at nights, but noise doesn't bother me so I have no issues.

The staff were very helpfull with checking in and out however when we asked for an adaptor to be sent to the room we waited forever and later went to fetch it ourselves.
Location is great and rooms are fine!
We never had any meals in hotel so cannot comment. great meals just around the corner everywhere.
Will use hotel again if we can bargain for lower price!

The hotel is nicely located in the golden triangle. Just couple of hundred metres off Bukit Bintang rail station. Sungei Wang Shopping Mall is on the other side of the road. So is Low Yat Plaza. This hotel is ideally located and offers a service up to expectations. Hotel staff is very friendly and responsive. Eateries are in the vicinity of the hotel too. Value for money!

The Hotel Capitol was a pleasant surprise the first time we stayed and a warm welcome the second time.
The staff couldn't be better. The facilites were excellent and so is the location.

The reason I stay at the hotel almost all the time when I'm in KL is due to its location. I just love the fact that it's walking distance to all the malls including Berjaya Times Square & the newly built Pavillion. It is also walking distance to Puduraya bus terminal & that really helps as I can avoid the terrible road jams going to Puduraya. I can also walk from the hotel to KLCC. It's really convenient when I feel like having a late night snack, or go for a movie or karaoke. The service can do with a definite improvement as I always do not get the room I specify for although I usually reserve at least a month before my arrival. That's quite upsetting as I always make it a point to stay there when I'm in KL and I don't really feel appreciated everytime I encounter problems upon check-in.

We had returned to the same hotel over the past year when we were in KL. One thing I like best about this hotel is the FRESH SCENT and CLEAN SHEETS everytime we return from tire of walking the whole day.

But the room is rather too small, esp if you have children with you. And the checkin/checkout can be very slow. Quite frustrating sometimes.

We'd return to the same hotel again for sure, bcos the location is right at the city center. Very convenient.

But taxis in KL are cut-throat!! They don't use the meter anymore, they simply give a price sometimes triple the normal rate!!! The hotel taxis should be asked to use meter - that should be a great help.

The nearby pubs or cafes blasting their music late into the night make it really difficult to sleep.

Staff very good. Room was fine. Some problems with Internet access.

Best for its location I asked for king size bed but got assigned 2 single instead

Basically the room was clean and nice but size of the room is kinda small. As for the comforter it will be better if have a thicker one. Bathroom was great, clean, neat & eligant.

Front desk staff is efficient and friendly. The air-con is too cold, even when I've switched off the air-con fan!
