The renovation done on this hotel a few years ago was well done and the carpeting and bathrooms are looking great. Everything was very clean and the housekeeping was excellent.
However, the welcome we received was way below par. We stayed for 5 nights and never during this time did we receive a smile or pleasant welcome from the desk staff.
The breakfast cost 13 euros which seemed a bit high. It was fairly substantial, though, with meat, cheese, yogurt, rolls, cereal.
The location between the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower and close to 2 Metros was very nice, however the neighborhood is not very commercial so there were not many choices for restaurants or shopping.
Construction in the quartier started at 8am and disturbed our sleep on several days.

Given the high prices of Paris hotels (even for 3 or 2 stars), Hotel Ambassade is an excellent choice especially if you are travelling on your own because the rooms are too small. Otherwise it is very clean, the bathroom has been modernised and the personel is helpful and very kind. Breakfast is modest but ok.
The best asset of this small hotel is its location. Very close to the Champs Elysees, makes it a wise choice for a long weekend in Paris.

I see the room type was -Superior room for 2 people with one double bed.
My room was tiny with one small single bed.
Breakfast was only adequate.
Staff were helpful and courteous.

Rather noisy, even though I requested the quietest possible room.

The location is perfect - near the Arch of Triumph & shopping. Great cafe bistros within walking distance. Close proximity to Metro/RER Perfect for a few nights in Paris. Nicely decorated. Very small but great value for the money. It was great.

VERY NOISY ROOM ON GROUND FLOOR

we ordered a breakfast in our room which didnt come,when reminded,the staff brought one we had not ordered,we think it was because that was all that was left that morning. there was not enough storage space.the bathroom was tiny.

GREAT LOCATION!!! Good variety for breakfast. Concierge was very helpful for booking tours and taxis, etc. 24 hrs a day. All rooms are completely renovated with new furniture and new wonderful bathrooms and showers. Rooms are cozy but functional. Rated a two star but definitely a three star and more!!
