could have done with a drink and a snack when we got there--the bar was closed though the room was booked for three people there were only 2 coffee and satchets for 2 people, a minor point I know, but significant enough for me to remember 3 weeks later

foyer was a bit bland. The room was tastefully decorated and the size was great. Toiletries supplied were of good quality.

weweren't at the hotel long enough to comment on facilities or ambience. We had no complaints about the room, and felt that we got what we paid for in terms of comfort etc and were perfectly pleased. However, we were not happy with the tea-coffee facilities or aspects of the room service. Tea and coffee -- there were only 4 ordinary tea bags. We feel that it would be far better to provide down to earth ordinary teabags in sufficient number, than to provide such things as Earl Grey, chamomile etc which wouldn't be wanted by the vast majority of your guests...surely better to provide a good number of basic essentials and let the few who might want a specialist tea to ring down for them. Calling down for additional supplies may well have been an option but if we want a cup of tea, we want a cup of tea!! (ie now not in 15 minutes). Also it needs to be pointed out to the room service breakfast staff that one small pat of butter for each guest, when there are four slices of toast each, is not sufficient. The airport location was exactly what we were looking for.

We did not stay at Holiday Inn as we were travelling to Melbourne for the U2 Concert. This was cancelled. We did NOT receive a refund or were NOT able to re-schedule our stay at the Holiday Inn. This was very disappointing. We will not be using this hotel again which is most upsetting as we have stayed here in the past with excellent results. We did not stay at the hotel.

Unfortunately I only use your hotel when I am flying out of Melbourne early. If it was closer into the city it would always be my choice of accomodation. My grandsons feel this is where we should always stay!!!!

HAD BOOKED TWO ROOMS ON INTERNET AND ONE WAS UNABLE TO BE USED. SAD THERE IS NO ALLOWANCE MADE FOR THIS EVEN THOUGH I GAVE PLENTY OF NOTICE. AN EXPENSIVE NIGHT FOR US!!!

Only slept over one night so cannot comment further Value for money, this room was easily the best hotel room we stayed in all holiday. The beds were fantastically comfortable.

Piano music at breakfast time a little strange. It set the theme for a night time ambience over dinner and wine? Not "bacon and egg" music. Didn't hear a thing even though we were right next to an airport! Well Done!
