Staf were helpfull, and coutious counter staff helpfull.

Given the location, which is excellent for air travellers, the Melbourne Airport Holiday Inn has a captive dining crowd. That may be the reason for the decidedly average food. Skin all through the tomato and roast capsicum soup and stale croutons in the soup and salad, along with warm egg in the cold ceasar salad, were all a turn-off. Staff were not courteous to the person before me at the check-in desk and this gave me a very poor start to the experience. The carpet in my room was not clean and the shower curtain was mouldy at the edges. Overall the experience was average, but as you might expect, the location will make it a reasonable choice for early morning flights.

Very courteous staff, great comfortable room with excellent views. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the Hotel dining room, a very pleasant end to our trip to Melbourne.

The Holiday Inn was a very clean, quiet (given it is at the Air Port) and comfortable. The Staff are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The rooms were perfect for what we wanted and loved that they gave you an option of pillow firmness. Big thumbs up who thought that one up. Just don't eat there, service was fine, the meals very ordinary and overpriced. The selection was wofle and was all trendy dishes. If you are not into garlic or random spices you will be disappointed. There were no simple meals on the menu like a good old safe Parma. Macca’s was a better option and I don't eat it! There is also a bus service to drop you at the Air Port which ran to time and was very friendly.

We stayed at your hotel to be near the airport for our flight the next morning. The location was good.

On the positive side, the use of the business centre for internet access and print capability at one hour for no charge was the best value of anywhere we stayed.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Melbourne Airport on new years eve was terrific. I felt welcome as soon as I walked in,reception staff were very pleasant and professional. I was nicely surprised when I entered my room because it was so clean, I liked everything about the room plus I had a good night sleep.

After I returned my hire car I decided to have a few drinks in the bar. I am glad I decided this because the barman was very friendly and I did not feel he was being friendly because it was his job to do so. Please thank him for his kindness he lifted my spirits,he made me feel very welcome.

I decided to try the Chicken Caeser Salad for dinner and it was great. The salad had agood balance of ingrediance which complimented the taste. Well done to the chief.

Checking out I recieved my wake up call and check out was a breeze, I was dropped off at the airport.

Great location when on a short visit with an early departure from International airport.

OUR OVERNIGHT STAY WAS VERY ENJOYABLE AND RELAXING. AS WE HAD AN EARLY MORNING FLIGHT WE DECIDED TO DRIVE TO MELBOURNE THE PRIOR DAY. WE HAD A LOVELY EVENING MEAL IN THE RESTAURANT THEN WATCHED AN INHOUSE MOVIE BEFORE RETIRING. WE ORGANISED AN EARLY REMINDER CALL AND THE BUS TO THE TIGER DEPOT. EVERYTHING WAS ORGANISED BY YOUR STAFF IN A FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WAY. IT STARTED OUR TRIP TO MAROOCHYDORE IN A GREAT RELAXING WAY. THANKYOU.

I used the hotel as a convenient place to depart Melb. for overseas travel. The facilities and staff were excellent - especially when compared with other hotels in the chain. I particularly enjoyed both the service and food quality in the restaurant.

I liked the hotel except for the fact that the airconditioning meant that the room was very cold in the night. Is it necessary to have airconditioning in the winter?

Bed comfortable but plastic sheet sewn to it made it become very hot during the night.
