We chose this hotel because of its location - near Orly airport from where we were leaving France next day- and because we thought that a Holiday Inn hotel would be run by people knowledgeable about hotels.

Dinner was fine and up to that stage we were enjoying our stay. Then things went bad.

The air-conditioning did not work - because, we were told, of the ambient temperature. We had to try to sleep with the window open coping with the noise and light from passing traffic.

Our son, responding to an urgent message to ring his mother was told that "we do not have any Pentonys staying here". You do not need to be a rocket scientist to handle such a request.

Then we took the free shuttle bus. The driver stood by and watched as an old man (me) and an old woman (my wife) struggled to get the cases in the bus. Then despite it being obvious that we were leaving Paris he dropped us off at the arrivals hall.

After this experience I will never stay at a Holiday Inn establishment

I paid the bill prior to my wife finishing her hair and makeup. The TV and air conditioning was turned off immediately. Not very friendly More soap better bath toels

Excellent Breakfast

The Hotel, was one of the best Holiday Inn's I've stayed in. Service was excellent, well priced & good breakfast. Even offered an shuttle bus for free to the Airport. Also children friendly. Near to airport & RER subway to travel to the City centre Paris. The room was very clean and when they mean non-smoking, it is non-smoking. Even next to the Autoban, no noise.

Entrance difficult to find. Good spacious room, very impressed

Staff was very helpful and friendly Windows could be cleaner
