This is my first time chosen Holiday Inn Melaka, the feeling after step into the hotel is good. The ambience and the cleaniness. Reception staff is polite and can able to meet my little request during check-in i.e to have a sea view room with a king size bed. I guess it is due to non-peak period :) To my surprise, the room is at high floor, big and clean, facilties in the room is fantastic. I would certainly consider Holiday Inn Melaka again for my next trip. Thanks.

Plus points: Very clean and efficient. Room large and well stocked with toiletries. Gave extra shower gel and conditioner when asked. Front desk staff very efficient and friendly - very willing to assist. Convenient 2 level parking facility. Excellent view of Malacca and very near two large shopping malls. Minus points: Had to cross a couple of very busy roads to get to shopping malls - so near yet so far! The complimentary shuttle bus service operates two hourly. It would be good if it was done more frequently eg hourly or even half hourly if there is sufficient demand. Overall assessment: Very happy with the hotel. Good value for money.

Room were very clean and bed is so comfortable with good facing view. Great swimming pool.My friend enjoys his swim very much.Just not enough lending chair to sit and the swimming pool open time too short,if closed at 9pm is more better.The most important is the price reasonable.I would definitely like to stay here again.

I was a bit disappointed to find out that the rate that i paid for RM 250 was not including breakfast. As the price for the meal at the hotel was quite costly, we have to walk out for 15 mins to the city centre to find food. However, overall, it was a nice hotel with good sceneries. Would come back again and recommend friends and relatives to this hotel.

Whilst the ambience is superb various factors need to be addressed namely ;

a) the decor and furniture looks relatively cheap for a five star hotel. In fact the room i stayed in had the toilet bowl leaking water as it was flushed which endorses my point on the quality of things in the room ;

b) there is not enough parking spaces on the weekends at night as the pub dwellers occupy most of the car parks which in my opinion should be reserved for hotel guest only ;

Had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Melaka. My kids love the swimming pool though it is a bit small.
Room is very spacious and was very surprised that the 'in-house' coffee was Moconna brand...never had a hotel giving us Moconna coffee.
Hotel location was great. Walking distance(5 mins) to Mahkota Parade and Dahtaran Pahlawan shopping centre.
Breakfast was good.
Have recommended this hotel to friends and would definately return.

Since the first stay in Holiday Inn Melaka, I told myself this is the hotel i will stay again as it is value for money, in terms of the cleanliness of room, room service, location to shopping centers, authentic paranakan restaurants, walking distance to old town and night market. I also think the food and beverages price is very reasonable including room service.

Overall, we like the hotel, it is clean, staff are very courteous and withing close proximity to shopping centres. The check out was also a breeze without much hiccup and they graciously agreed to an hour late check out because we need more time to pack.

I will come back to Malacca and will continue to choose this hotel over others for the time being.

Excellent view of the Straits of Malacca from our room. Room is spacious equipped with everything that we need. Staff is very courteous and the food served is just great!

The staff at Holiday Inn Melaka is very courteous and helpful. They even applied Priority Membership on my behalf when I checked out. Nice swimming pool view and FOC jacuzzi at the SPA Tree for those staying inside the hotel.
Hotel is near to shopping mall but need 15-20 mins walk to Jonker Walk. Free transport only available every 2 hours which is insufficient with on 12 seats available.
Overall RECOMMENDED to stay in this hotel.

OVERALL ARE GOOD

I and family enjoy the stay, the breafast spread was good and the service staff was excellent in extending infomations on place of interest to visit also offer help how to get there. The Management may need to look into the safety access across the road, which can be hazardous to cross. I intend to organis our family comprsing of 40 members for an leisure stay in the hotel.

Overall, the hotel is good, the staffs are helpful and friendly. The ambience are great and the sea view are magnificent.

As this hotel is relatively new, it's still well-maintained.
Cleaniness of room is good. Location not too bad, just cross a road to central -mahkota where the shops are.
Comes with sea-view if you are staying facing the straits of malacca. Will be back..
