Refrigerator did notwork

very nice view and room. rooms are big and with a balcony. filled with warm welcome when i reach the lobby.

1)Front Desk Service not proactive 1) Water heater not functional properly

We were given room 2307 upon arrival 30 September, however when we checked into the room, we were shocked to find 3 technicians in the room repairing the aircon and bathroom, the room was not ready at all. We had to go down to the counter to clarify with them. Apparently there were no communication at all between the internal staffs, as the counter staff don't even know the room was not ready to check in at all.

Generally the hotel was well serviced, although one needed to use the pool to get the most benefit of the facilities. We checked out the gym and it looked well equipped, the restaurants appeared to be ok but seemed too focused on Japanese cuisine and as my wife is Indonesian there was limited dining catering for her. The staff were friendly but not very helpful. The breakfast was alright and the room service was passable if a little slow I was a little disappointed to be stuck in a corner room with limited view when the hotel was clearly a long way from being full. My experience with other resorts is that they will treat internet booking guests a little better in the expectation of us becoming a more regular and direct booking customer.

I order room service and I stay 1 nite at this hotel but no one come to clear the food. After our shopping trip in the morning and abt to depart they still didn't clean our room so flies are all over the place. The room was spacious and clean and I feel like I'm in my own home.

Hotel was great & definitely value for money. My first impression of the room was great just the floor was a bit sticky when i first step into the room. Other than that it was ok.

If you are looking for a good spa and good food, Holiday inn is a good location at Batam. Overall, quite costly, but the standards delivered are worth the cost. The room was much larger than I expected. It was well furnished, but the mini-bar wasn't working in my room.

The staff were very friendly & approachable. Room was not very clean. On our day 2 housekeeping was not done despite request.

The location of Air condition is not good because it is too near from the bed.

F&B prices are expensive for Batam. Buffet breakfast is good. Big pool. Hotel maintained Holiday Inn's standard of good service and comfort. The studio room looks abit run down but is very spacious and reasonably comfortable. Balcony is in a corner and very small. No table to dine on when we ordered room service. Cable TV works!

the room has a foul smell. I suspect it might be the chemicals used for cleaning the carpets.

Overall its great staying at holiday inn batam, but just a little feedback from me, hotel should provide shuttle service to the town for the guests.

it wld be nice to have a microwave oven.

The staff was courteous. We would have preferred a non-smoking room. But, we look forward to the next time and that you would accomodate us with a non-smoking room. Thanks

Food too expensive

I was under the impression that the resort is by the beach. There should be 2 tvs - one in the bedroom and one in the living room.
