Central and Admiralty - Central and Admiralty is Hong Kong's main business district with its distinctive high-rise and impressive skyscrapers that house the headquarters of major banking institutions and corporations. This is where the high stake wheeling and dealing takes place on a daily basis and where the seat of the Government is located at Government Hill. Located on the north shore, Central has served as the main trading area since the early days of the British occupancy as it is near the Victoria Harbour. Admiralty refers to the eastern part of the Central district. Its skyline is even more breathtaking at night when viewed from Tsim Sha Tsui that is on the opposite side. Central and Admiralty is also the main transportation hub and where the Star Ferry Pier is located. You can take the ferry from here to get to Kowloon, Macau or other outlying areas in Hong Kong.
