We originally booked the Hilton Hotel at Heathrow airport because we thought it would be convenient to terminal 3. We assumed the Hilton would provide a shuttle bus to Terminal 3. This turned out not to the case. It was either the underground coping with our luggage or a taxi. Due to my poor health we opted for a taxi which cost us 19 Pound sterling. The staff were not very helpful at all - it seemed to be very much geared to the modern business executive. The ambience of the hotel was awful. There was no hot water in the shower in the morning. All in all the worst hotel we stayed at during our holiday and by far the most expensive. I would never recommend it!. Could I suggest the Hilton at Heathrow look at Singapore hotels to learn what hospitality is all about!. Kay Power.
