We stayed at the Holiday Inn Heathrow airport for the second time.

This hotel is very conveniently located to the airport.

The concierge advised us that it would cost the same for 2 people to get a taxi to the airport as to take the airport bus. This information was very helpful and convenient.

The service was excellent. Every staff member was very professional and willing to do anything to make my stay more pleasurable. The room was very clean and well manetained.

I had booked a double bed room, instead I was given a twin single bed room. I was later provided a double bed room after I pointed the error to the receptioist. Furthermore, I made enquiries from the receptionist about the best way to travel to Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital,Stanmore. I was told that it was very close only 10 minutes away and that the best way to travel was by a cab which will cost GBP15. I therefore, instructed him to book a cab for me for 08.15 am , as I had to be at the hospital at 09.00 am. At 08.00 in the morning there was no taxi only a wagon available and the driver told me he works for the hotel and that it will take more than an hour to reach Stanmore, and that it will cost GBP55. This made me very upset as the sole reason for my travel was to visit the hospital for professional purpose and be there at 09.00 am. I was ofcourse very late in arriving to the hospital because of unreliable advice and not in a proper taxi.
