Day 1: Asked for Hotel Directory and sowing kit- promised, but neither never arrived. Day 2: Asked for sowing kit - promised but never arrived. Day 3: Ordered room service - never arrived. Gave reason that kitchen was busy - don't know why as the restaurant was empty! Best was the $15 breakfast buffet - but this is about the only good thing I can report! Bathroom was very good, except for the shower rose which would not stay in position. But....the stains all over the furniture were far from satisfactory. Bed comfortable, but double only. No on/off for central heating - worked ok but the continuous humming took some getting used to.

It was the perfect location. Right in the middle of everything. Not too bad of a walk to the Casino or the markets. The view was great! The room itself could have been slightly cleaner.

The customer service was appalling. We felt we were un-important to the staff especially when we were trying to contact the assistant manager on her direct line, she was never available to answer. We came back to our room at approx 4pm and realised no one had cleaned it yet. We wanted to take showers but there were no clean towels and we wanted a nap before hitting the town again but our beds weren't made up. We had to wait outside while the cleaners cleaned.

Staff at front desk did not check your name when handing over the key. Seems like a security risk. Loved the large sunny room, but it is extremely noisy at night. Double glazing would help.

I didnt have a view, but I was very comfortable.

Main entrance and restaurants were nice but rooms upstairs and corridors definitely needed upgrading - walls and doors needed painting. Looked a little tired. Needed to be painted and freshen carpets.

The staff were friendly, but the details of our reservation werent taken care of very well. They didnt have a room ready for us when we arrived and there was no cot organised. When we rang down to reception and asked when they were going to bring one up, we were told that there was no mention of a cot on our reservation. It was all sorted out in the end, but we werent very impressed. There was no price list for the mini-bar.

Very dissappointed with the rooms and service. Was there for our honeymoon and i was glad we changed hotels to the Saville

The floor of the room was left un-vacuumed on the day after we checked in and we had accidentally spilled some biscuit crumbs on the floor during unpacking.

Your staff are very friendly and efficient - they certainly went the extra mile. We are both extremely well travelled and my wife is part of the tourism industry in NZ, thus our comments are very will informed. Rooms and corridors are a little tired but perhaps the value for money

The twin room was made out of two beds joined together but couldn't split the bedding
