We found the staff to be very courteous and friendly. The room was huge compared other hotel rooms we have stayed in. The mealin the restaurant was absolutely superb. The only negative we had was the lack of a fan in the bathroom which meant having to shave/do hair/apply make-up with a foggy mirror. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This Hotel was great and I would highly recommend it. The service was fantastic and the room was large, clean and comfortable. It was great value for money and I would stay there again if we go back to Melbourne.

Only one working elevator so long waits. Dining room breakfasts good. Staff polite. Face cloths not always replaced had to be requested.

When booking, there was no mention of parking fees. Parking was not ideal. Bed comfortable but we were not made aware prior to arriving that it was two beds pushed together. Would have been nice to be told when booking.

There was a mix up with bookings and we ended up with a different(smaller) room than booked, but the staff were good at giving a replacement room, and a drink voucher for the difference in price. All o.k. the room itself was a good size and clean, with a nice street-scape view. The bed was a 'king' which was a zip-king ( 2 mattresses zipped together ) so that was a bit awkward when sleeping with your partner, but it was comfy. The bathroom was small, and needs a re-tile , but it served it's purpose!

Only had one lift working throughout the four days we were staying there and that lift had a broken mirror in it (with a note from the hotel apologising). Pool temperature was at 32 degrees C - too hot to be refreshing. Maybe alot of front desk staff in training? as messages weren't cleared once they had been relayed and abit of confusion in regards to where our registration card was when we came back to occupy our room (we originally checked in at 11.00 am but it was not available until 14.00 pm which was fine). Late check out on Sunday at 18.00 pm was fantastic - a real bonus that we had not anticipated. Room service at 11.30 pm was also really appreciated. Dust under the TV on the ledge that held the sky / digtal box. Glass door in bathroom leaks water onto the tile floor - design problem? Loved the two full length mirrors in the room - one in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. Bathrobes were great.
