We were travelling emirites and the airline lost one of our bags. then we lost another bag in a taxi. so pretty bad start to the new year as all this happened 31st evening. the hotel staff were very helpful and giving us the phone numbers for airline and taxi customer service and made calls for us. they even followed up with the taxi service after we left brisbane and kept us updated - this in particular was great service!! the day we left, the staff did not even accept tips from us and said that you have already gone through a lot running around to the airport in taxi several times, just use the money for yourself - i thought this was another great gesture!!

staff said there hed been a refurbishment done and the rooms re categorised. we arranged to have a superior room and the room was not to the standard expected. We did query this the the staff were uninterested

The staff were fantastic. Even though I live on the Gold Coast, I very rarely visit Brisbane, so on numerous occassions I had to ask for directions to walk to the city, to get to Suncorp Stadium and to get out of the city. The staff were very knowledgable and happy. The checkin and checkout was flawless. A very positive experience. Oh, by the way, the little lollies in the room were a massive hit. Thanks The room was a good size, and very clean and tidy.

Room was not available for early check in as requested when booking, made to wait approx 4 hours, then wasnt called as agreed when room was ready

The restaurant menu was small and the kitchen was slow. We waited 30 minutes for our salads! People at the front desk were not friendly, although they could provide the information that we asked for. When we arrived, the bathroom has no soap and shower gel etc.

Excellent though expensive restaurant.

The hotel did not provide free parking which I thought to be totally unreasonable considering the rates. The room that we were in did not have a balcony, and while it was still comfortable we began to feel a little claustrophobic and needed fresh air.

Could have had a Park View room (which we would have prefered) if we had asked, or stipulated at booking; we didn't so had a city view instead

Modern, good service, helpful staff. Good spacious rooms, well equipped. very nice views of CBD.

The motel has a promotion with getaway for rooms for $99 per night. We paid $135 + $10 per night parking. Parking system fail once when we were trying to get out. When we first rang up to see if our rooms were ready, we had 3 booked, they said only 1 room was booked. After looking around they found the paperwork. air conditioning not working 1st night. They delivered us fans. 2nd night was a bit better
