A bit of luxury after 3 weeks camping

Treated ourselves to a bit of luxury after 3 weeks in a camper van! Hotel was nice although we felt a bit dishevelled and looked down on by the other guests who were all glammed up (it wasn´t like the hotel was super expensive though!). Don´t walk from town though as it´s too far and up a big hill. There´s a free bus which the hotel didn´t mention until after we got there! Some of the rooms have lake views and ours didn´t which was a bit of a shame.
A traditional hotel
The hotel is favored by large coach parties judging by the entrance notice board; however once past this point you could be forgiven for thinking you were the only people in the hotel. Room was airy, spacious, clean and with a great view, a small balcony with table and two chairs an excellent place to have breakfast. Room came with large comfortable bed, TV, Music system and I think video player, although why you'd be watching videos' rather than exploring Queenstown is beyond me. Town is a 5-10 minute walk, but a free bus visits the hotel every 30 minutes and takes you directly there and back. We didn't eat at the hotel as we spent time in Queenstown with the large variety of local restaurants. Judging by the number of people who did eat in, the meals were good. Would definitely go back to this hotel.
beautiful pool facility. great decor. was allocated a top floor room with a breathtaking view.
We were upgraded to a villa which was very spacious with many extra emenities

Hotel staff was obviously expecting, that I should acept offered room. Assistance to clear the case was very little. At 03:30 pm one of the booked rooms was not ready. The booked category was no more available. (What is the use of reservation then???)
The hotel was superior. You could use a second jacuzzi spa perhaps outside. One is small for the facility. Additional changing room if possible. The accomodations were excellent
