My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It was extremely clean, quiet, and conveniently located. We ate at the restaurant twice and the service and food were both outstanding.
The staff was helpful in giving directions, calling cabs, and helping with gift shopping.

the check in staff very helpful, i was travelling in a party of 10 and assistance was offered to book early morning airport transfer. Very much appreciated - Rachel or Rebecca I believe. the room was excellent, although we were only there for an overnight and left very early in the morning.

I was very disappointed in the Leisure facilities. Also the bar in the Heritage in my opinion wasn't very welcoming or comfortable, we had planned to go for a drink before dinner but decided against it We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite as we were a honeymoon couple. It was much appreciated

There was an unfortunate problem with the sump pump in the basement that meant I had an incredibly disturbed night.The staff were great about this, I only had to pay half the rate and have been offered another night. But it did of course effect my stay and enrgy levels. I need to take up the offer of another night to get a true picture. Not sure when I'll be going back to Christchurch though but the hotel manager has suggested I could use the accommodtion voucher in another city. I'm a bit shy about this. The response for the hotel has been much appreciated but I'm do feel neutral still and need to get over this. I wonder if the bathroom could be a bit brighter, glamourous

Did not use any facilities but cannot leave blank. Lolly papers on floor on arrival.

False advertising as the picture for the hotel is actually the restaurantCramped foyer and price did not reflect the standard of a major hotel The TV faced a pillar and so could only be seen from the bed with difficulty. Hairdryer was hopeless. A request for another was refused and the oven did not work.

Porter not available or very slow Kitchenette is very well-equipped. No view but nice building.

Never utilized the spa/gym We loved it.

Not my idea of a "deluxe" room, but adequate.

too cold air con not working

We had a problem that the room phone would not connect to an outside outside connection. It took two calls to reception and nearly 10 hours after the first call that the problem was fixed. The receptionist who fixed it was very helpful. The one who didn't , not so!

to be fair I was only in the hotel for a vwey short time , not even one day . The room i was in was quite noisy being close to the lifts . I would ask for a different loctation next time .

Would have loved a razor in the bathroom......forgot to bring one. Also always travel with cds. Most hotels now have a little cd player which is great. Greater range of teas maybe....if I was to be extra fussy!Went to get a late nite drink /coffee abt 10pm, and everything closed!!
