the staff showed no inclination meal service and cleaning and setting new tables The hotel gave a completely run down impression. Dirtmarks on the carpets, window frames warped ( allowing draughts)

Looks like a 3 star hotel to me. Merlin Inn which looks much better charge only RM125 per room per night. The maintenance of the room isn't good with some broken furniture. Additional to that, the centralize hot water provided in the bath room is cold !

but overall, with some improvements on mantainance and service, i believe this hotel is all GOOD. This Hotel has all the infrastucture it needs with a enchanted secret garden. Hope that the management will buck up in their service and cleanliness and mantain this lovely lovely place. I requested for a extra roll of toilet roll and it never came, the air vent is cloged up with dust, shower curtains has spots of mildew, it's time for your linens to be changed, no bath mat...

Staircase leading to the watch tower is horrendous with bird droppings everywhere and bad odour. Clunky and heavy stainless steel room key chain. 2 out of 5 light bulbs blown, loose bed side lamp fitting, damaged wash basin faucet, dirty (drinking) water heater and limited satelite TV channels.

Reception service differs per person.After one definet refusal of shuttle service to the bus station ,the receptionist on nightduty complided in our request.Bad service because one sees this little Heritage bus driving around and we are sure we were not the only ones(pensioners) Linen was very grubby

The hotel offered very few amenities. The bar always seemed to be closed. The restaurant stopped cooking the set meals by 7.30 and we had a meal in the the chinese restaurant which was ok but the service was poor and the decor was greatly in need of a coat of paint. The bedding seemed damp and not freshly washed. The pillows smelt musty even when changed as requested.

Nice room, but not really comfortable with 1 chair,sorry. To have only 1 comfy chair in a room for 2 people is rather odd. 2 chairs minimum should be offered.

Not very much furniture in rooms. No chairs on balconys, which seems stupid as all rooms had balconies.

Facilities of hotel eg. spa, steam etc were in very very bad condition (unusable state). Restaurant breakfast provided were not up to standard in terms of quality and variety. Can obtain better from outside. No airconditioning in room
