Some counter staff (female) are not friendly, unhelpful. (name ommitted) The two pillows provided are too soft, extra pillows should be provided. A mini safe should be provided for guest's convenience.

To request for additional pillows, I need three phone calls.

Not enough facility and also the locator is far from the travel place. Window lock spoil already. This make me deduct the point. Except this issue, i am pleasant with others.

kettle supplied on request, the element is too rusty for use.

The charges looks not compatible with the facilities available, No fan. Its quite hot to stay in the room at day time. Overall is good.

Its quite a tiring walk from the town centre of Tanah Rata although it is elevated above the town centre. Bedsheets and towels were old.

Credit card machine was not working. has to pay by cash. Beds were not comfortable. thin sheets and flat pillows.

its located near town that makes it very convinient place, has nice garden and tower to overlook hill. facilities are basic, the restaurant during breakfast time was loaded with too many people but lack of staff room is basic but clean, room has nice view of hill

It looked quiet and forbidding on the first look. In fact, too quiet and poorly lit on the corridors, making it seems spooky. Except for a faulty right bed lamp, room 217 feels great with a nice garden right below it. The sound of water flowing is really soothing.

I actually requested extra bed in each of the room that i haved booked under Holiday City on Dec and put a special remarks on it. And I also called up and talked to one receptionist (who i didn't write it down the name) to confirm my special request. But i ended up have to argue at the counter, and the person-in-charge told me that Holiday City didn't informed that to them even after I showed them my confirmation email by Holiday City through my Palm. I finally got the extra bed and thought it could be settle in a better way instead of guests making noise. Addition to that, both of the room did not have towel.. and we waited till late nite around 11pm. on the following morning, the water supply was stopped and me and family have to use mineral water to brush our teeth.. this is rather ridiculous and I hope the management can really look into it, as personally lose some confidence looking at the situation like this. I checked in at 3pm ++ and was being informed that I had to wait for 1 hour to allow the housekeeping to clean up the room. But ended up i waited for more than 1 hour and i was given an excuse of short of manpower to clean up. It should not be happened for festive season.

We paid less at several hotels which were of a much higher standard and CLEAN The room was extremely dirty- dead bloody mosquito on the wall, spider's web in bathroom, hairs on bedlinen, hole and stains on sheets, dirty carpets. Nylon mix bedlinen (all other hotels visited had cotton)

Please refer to comments above The bedside light is not working. The basin is malfunction as well. But I particularly like the spacious room and the bed. Another problem is no ESPN sport channel in room. The services by restaurant staff during breakfast is horrible. Table is not being cleaned properly.

The hotel is good in many aspects, however, for the single reason about the unpleasant shower water temperature, I won't be able to recommend this hotel to others. hot water shower was really a warm water shower. In that cold weather, that is really something to remember.
