Our stay here was fantastic , we were upgraded to a lovely suite overlooking the mts. The suite was warm , modern and comfortable with kitchen & bathroom. The staff were very helpful in assissting us with ski bookings for each day we were there. The hotel also has internet facilities and a comfortable lounge area to relax in. We were 5 mins walk to all restaurants in town. Highly recommend Scenic A line

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Upon review of the bill after we left the hotel we did however notice that we had been charged for a coke from the minibar which we did not consume. We should have picked this up at the time of checkout but did not look properly as we were in a hurry. The room was very comfortable and conveniently located. The only thing I can thing of is that the bed sheet was too small for the bed and every night the sheet ended up making our sleep a little uncomfortable once the sheet became (very easily) untucked and then entangled. Wonderful view from our room!

Restaurant service poor, wine sent back corked and then presented more that was undrinkable, with no apology or interest. Staff untrained?

For people without wheels - steep climb ...from town. Bathroom ; light and ceili -located heating vomming on at the same time isuncomfortable.esp. for tall persons. Heating could be OPTIONAL esp. on a warm day ?

Great to see a microwave, fridge and cooktoop with all the cooking utensils you could think of. Very homely. My daughter particularly liked the fact that she had a TV in her room also.

a comfortable experience with staying in A line hotel

Shower in room on first night did not work well. Internet connection (hotel computer) was very slow and intermittant.

Very spacious room with a lovely view of the lake.

The location of the hotel is great. Such a short distance (walk) from the heart of the city but yet far enough away to allow quiet time. Our room was clean, comfortable. Our room was large, clean and had a fantastic view. We especially like the way the shower was separated from the dressing table which allowed both of us to get ready at the same time.

Rated 2 for the location as the walk up the slope can be really tiring. It's ok if you are driving. Otherwise, it will be an "unforgettable" experience dragging the luggages up the slope to get to the hotel like us. We had 4 adults staying in the family room. Did not expect the 4th bed to be a sofa bed. The sofa bed was stained and with dirt apparent in some corners. No extra beddings such as blanket were given for the 4th person. The family room comes in 2 levels. So we had to carry our luggages up and down the narrow stairs which could be quite a task. The view at the 2nd level was pretty good but this came with a price. The room got pretty warm during the day with the strong sunlight shining through the full glass windows. No fans or air conditioning provided. Lastly, the family room does come with cooking facilities.

Recption service was wonderful but the restaurant was very poor. Understaffed meant that food was not refilled in buffet readily, staff were not polite when asked stating among others that it wasn't their job, and no apologies just an expectation that being understaffed was enough. Would not recommend eating here unless vast improvement. But rest of hotel was great. The TV didn't have option for viewing photos from digital camera - a must I think in a tourist town.

The service was excellent, we had a wonderful stay in the hotel. The gentleman that greeted us was more than helpful which was a good start to our stay. Thank you so much PS: The food in the restaurant was fantastic as well.

On our stay only used the dining room the first morning for breakfast which enjoyed BUT the chef did overcook the fried eggs we asked for. I did ask for twin beds but on arrival found it was 1 bed in our room.However after ringing reception was told we could split the beds or use the sofa in the lounge as it folded down to a double bed which we did which was very comfortable.

Very good value for money. Only slight disadvantage is that it's on the top of a slope so rather tiring to walk up the slope. Mitigating factor - it's about 8-10 min walk from the city centre. The room was a very good size, with nice views, large beds. Full range of complimentary drinks as well as non-complimentary ones in the bar fridge. Toilet was very clean, and included shower and bath tub.

There was quite a bright yellow security light across from the room which was on all night and no blind on door to cut the brightness out which was very annoying

We enjoyed our stay at the A-Line Hotel and were very surprised and pleased that breakfast was included in the tariff. The only discomfort we experienced was to be rudely awoken at 10.30 pm by the fire alarm in our room which continued to sound while we had to evacuate into the rain. After 20 minutes the Fire Brigade determined there was no fire in our building and we were able to make our way back to bed. Other than that inconvenience, we enjoyed our stay. More towel rails would be helpful.
