This is a great disadvantage if a guest has luggage or has mobility problems. the room was pleasant and quiet. It was changed from the first one we were offeed, without problmes, as we could not easily go upstairs to the top floor.

Another plus: there's a (reasonably priced) Internet cafe just across the street (on Leigh St.). Very pleasant and attractively decorated.A clock-radio would be nice,though. Also a bath mat.

The staff helped us on a missing baggage problem, the breakfast was good, and the location, so near Russell Square, etc., was perfect.

The first night the room was the largest we had ever had at this hotel, and was on the first floor. The second night later in the week, our room was tiny and at the top of four flights of stairs with no lift.
