The location is wonderful, close to two tube stations and in the heart of London, and the girls at the desk are very kind. The only problem is that some rooms are very small and when you reserve you cannot know it (especially if you haven't been in that hotel before!). So, I recommend the hotel, but it's better to check about the room! The room was extremely small, and located in the basement, with an awful view. All of this, for the same price of a larger and better located room.

We chose the Harlingford over St. Margaret's, where we stayed before, because it appeared as a top 5 hotel in a NY review. In comparison, however, we found St. Margaret's overall a much better deal with larger rooms and overall better service. We were expecting a larger room for two of us. We could barely fit ourselves and our bags in the room. The bed was also small for two of us. The one window at the very top floor afforded little air flow.

This is a very nice hotel at a very nice location and the stuff was very nice and helpful.

The view from a window on a back court yard is not attractive. Remarkable service and the personnel, a quite good breakfast, a magnificent location - most sights can be bypassed on foot. Also it is possible to leave luggage at the manager of hotel after calculation and before departure, to not carry them with itself on city, that is very convenient. Very small room, but clean enough. Full absence of telechannels on the TV besides 1 or 2 locals; there is no conditioner in the room. The shower is located above and water flows only from above, it is impossible to lower it downwards. Here are all inconveniences.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was always acommodating. The full English breakfast delicious. Our room for family of 4 was spacious. We were a short walk to the tube station.

there is no lift. This is a great disadvantage if a guest has luggage or has mobility problems. the room was pleasant and quiet. It was changed from the first one we were offeed, without problmes, as we could not easily go upstairs to the top floor.

It was charming.

From what I've seen and heard this compares very favorably to other London hotels in this price range. Another plus: there's a (reasonably priced) Internet cafe just across the street (on Leigh St.). Very pleasant and attractively decorated.A clock-radio would be nice,though. Also a bath mat.

We had a good stay. The staff helped us on a missing baggage problem, the breakfast was good, and the location, so near Russell Square, etc., was perfect.
