Following attendance at a conference held at Sebel Pier One, my husband joined me for a short stay in Sydney. We chose the Harbourside Apartments because many people at my work stay there and highly recommend it. I have also recommended it to friends from England who stayed there earlier in the year. The location is simply stunning - we were on the top floor and just to be able to lie in bed and look at the harbour bridge all lit up was magical. Having the ferry so close makes travel so very easy. The staff were extremely helpful and I would dearly love to return again - thank you for a lovely mini-holiday in the beautiful Harbour City. our stay at the harbour side was very nice ,room was great the view was fantastc ,if you want to view the bridge and the opera house this is the place to stay.beware when you book there is no air con,in the rooms when we stayed it got up to 41d very hot so be aware of that ,even so i would recommend it to any one.the ferrys stop was 50yards away which was brill the bars and shops that are near you have to go up a fairly steep hill.use the ferrys they are cheap and punctual.

Location,Location superb .Thought I was dreaming each time I observed the heavenly view .Weather was so so very comfy home to return to on a wet day in Sydney ! .Staff especially Fiona delightful and kind .All staff did work well toghther and were very courteous at all times,sincere thanks for that.
Ferry trip great and so close and without traffic.

Didnt have hotel food great kitchen though ,ideal.Good restaurants only a short walk away,well done to all.

The Hotel was in a spectacular and convenient location. The room was spacious, clean with modern decor, comfortable and had a great view. We had a really great stay.

The location of the property was fantastic - minutes away from the ferry wharf for a short ride into Circular Quay. We were really pleased with all aspects of the apartment - the property had really good self catering facilities with a good size fridge/freezer. The apartment was also really bright and airy and exceeded all of our expectations.

Great room with amazing views over the harbour

The pool area is lovely; there are lounge chairs, some flowery bushes, a BBQ area, and towels are provided. Again, the view is breath-taking and a barbie in your own backyard feels like quite a treat in this location. The ferry stops right outside your door... but the drawback is it only comes once an hour, so you have to be quite organized because if you miss it you are stuck. Still, it's a gorgeous ride to Circular Quay and from there you can go almost anywhere. The apartments are quite small and the bed pillows are far from fluffyt -- but what a view! Unfortunately the windows only get washed twice a year but we got over the spots and enjoyed every minute of our outlook over the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. There is no five star hotel with a better view than this place.

Apart from problems with the bathroom, the pillows on the bed were too hard. Otherwise, the facility was really good and the location great. Bathroom was cramped, shower head fitted too low, cabinet above wash basin in wrong place.

Reception staff were not friendly and unpleasant and unhelpful at times; they need an attitude makeover. The location was phenomenal and it was great to have the ferry dock so close. Generally, the stay was more than pleasant but the staff were a big disappointment. They were the worst in my entire two week stay in Australia.

Pillows a bit soft.

Needs to be reshened up the paint work was pretty grubby and the pink walls a little tired for this day and age.

Harbourside apartments were excellent. the view from all rooms is amazing, the bridge is right there bigger than you can imagine. The pool has the same view, it is truly a fabulous place to stay with the ferry stop right at the front door.

fantastic location ,maybe that is the reason they get away with substandard maintainance. having stayed there some years ago I must say that quality of fittings have deteriorated e.g.the rack for drying clothes was broken and obviously had been like that for some time.
