Check in staff were very sympathetic to my 2 tired children arriving after midnight.
They had not received my request for twin beds + one extra bed, and were happy to upgrade to a suite.
They came quickly to make up the extra bed as the kids were very tired.

The hotel is close to the train station which is handy for us. They offered to transport our luggage from the lobby to the train station for us.

The staff was amazing and very polite. Breakfast was awesome and since we don't have voracious appetites, we ordered a-la-carte which saved us a bundle and the portions were big enough. May I highly recommend the Chinese set breakfast! The hotel is impressive from the outside and inside as well. People from other hotels gawked at ours when the tour bus dropped us off after our excursions. Wah!!

The service is immaculate with doormen opening doors and taxis readily available and cheap too. The pool is a happening place with impressive city and harbour views and the location is central which makes shopping that much easier.

We found the sofa bed in the 1 bedroom suite a little small for our 2 children. Either have a larger sofa bed or the hotel should have rooms with 2 queen beds so that a family of 4 can snuggle up together in the same room without having to rent 2 interconnecting rooms.

Not centrally located, but excellent free shuttle bus service provided (5 minutes to Star Ferry Pier) Smallet than expected, despite the fact that we were "upgraded" on arrival to the Harbour Plaza Club floor.

Very convenient & elegant. Very Comfortable & clean room.

Ideal for business person travelling into China.
