We did not anticipate the excessive and continuous noise from the patrons of the nightclubs opposite. Despite it being illegal to sound car horns during the night, the taxis failed to observe this law and were still doing so when we left the hotel at 6.30 the next morning. This led to a totally disrupted night's sleep. I believe you should warn potential customers that noise may be a problem, especially on a Saturday night.

But the accommodation was perfectly adequate for our needs and the staff were pleasant and obliging.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the management could make this a great location with a little effort in paying attention to the little things that make the difference between a medium hotel and a preferred hotel. The whole hotel is in need of refurbishment, it is "tired" and needs freshening up. We arrived in our room and the smell was unbearable, the room was not aired and we had to buy deorderiser to dispell the odour. We requested an early wake up call to go to airport- didnt happen. We received no valet service and transported our luggage to our room on both occasions. Very poor effort for a 4 star hotel
