The Hampstead Britannia had the feel of a somewhat faded hotel, which had seen better days. Saying that, it was comfortable, welcoming and in a terrific location, within a short walking distance of Primrose Hill's magnificent views over the centre of London. The sparcely populated bar served simple but tasty food. All in all, a place to which I would return, and which I would recommend to other visitors to London.

We tought the breakfast was very expensive considering we had alrady booked the room. 10 pounds is quite expensive and we are from Ireland so we should know!

the toilet on the ground floor is unacceptabley dirty. The carpet needs total replacement. The blanket is also very old.
