Great place to stay... friendly staffs.. great service

I have mix feeling about this hotel. When we arrived we checked in to our room on the 4th floor. The stairs are killing especially when I have a 2 years' old with me. I then requested for a room on the lower floor but the hotel staff told us they were fully booked. There didn't seemed to be many guests around and the hotel seems quiet the whole time we were there.It was difficult to communicate with the staff and they speak little English.
We arrived late on our first night, and there was no hot water in the room for shower. I rang up and asked the staff why there wasn't hot water and he said no hot water at night and told me only have hot water at 7 am in the morning. I couldn't believe it.....worst, the tap water in the room is not fit for drinking as it has a strong sulpur smell, later I found out the tap is corroded and has a blue powdery stuff around it , So I guessed that must have caused the ordour in the water. The hotel do provide 2 small bottled water and if you need more you will have to buy them. It's just these little things which made it inconvenient.
The location of the hotel is far from Kuta town. So have to rely on taxi all the time. Not many patrons at the Green Garden, the atmosphere is dead. Lack the holiday ambience.
Have to recommend their massage, good and reasonably priced.
I have to say I am very happy with the size and cleanliness of the room and it has a warm, simple decor.

Best spa facilities. Hard bed-one of the hardest I have slept in.

The small pool with waterfall background is good and romantic. The steam room is a bit too hot. The spa treatment is good and value for money. The Deluxe room is spacious and clean. However, lack of amenties like cotton bud, shower cap and sanitary bag. The cup for coffee/ tea is also too small.

We would have appreciated some kind of screening of the pool from the street. In the room hand soap for the handbasin, tissues and cottonbuds would be appreciated. The staff was friendly and attentive. We liked the birds. We thought the large bath was a spa bath which would have been excellent.
