it would be helpful if grand mecure roxy hotel to provide a halal food for a muslim.other than that everything is excellent.

Comfortable, feel good

This is a first class hotel at a reasonable price. The exclusive hotel bus, which runs every half hour from the airport, saves the bother of getting a taxi. The service is free. The hotel itself is hard to fault, with good sized rooms and beds that are super king sized. There are free tea and coffee making facilities, a mini bar, and excellent room service, as well as a variety of restaurants. We stay in many hotels in connection with our cottage business in France and would recommend the Grand Mercure Roxy as one of the very best. It represents real luxury at a very reasonable price. We certainly plan to stay there again on our way back to France next September. Geoff Richards Australia

Quite a good location, near to shopping mall and eateries.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was comfortable. Local food was delicious. Staff always friendly and courteous.

Warm & Friendly Staff

- Although I did not arrive until 8:00 pm (as previously advised arrival at 6:00 pm), Check-in was extremely slow, despite the request of Non-smoking, seaview and high floor, and confirmation on telephone a week before arrival, and staff attitude was neither warm nor friendly.

- During my stay for 5 nights, room was not cleaned on one day because housekeeping staff "thought" I was checking out on that day, and it took a few calls to sort out the matter.


- I am a returned guest because my family lives in a residential block located next to the hotel.

- I have expressed my frustration to FO Kevin when I check-out from the hotel. It would be interesting to see if there's improvement on the service, on my next stay from June 27 - July 2.

Hotel is in convenient location, free shuttle service to the airport. Hotel has connecting rooms which are very convenient for the family with children. We liked it very much.

The staff is polite and helpful. The main reason we choose this hotel is located to our new office and it is within the walking distance. In fact it is comfortable staying here.

We transitted for one night at the Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel on our way to Kuala Lumpur and because we were so happy with our stay we booked the extra three nights there after Kuala Lumpur on our way home to Perth. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The room was ideal for the three of us. We were out most of the time shopping and it was great to be able to return to a nice clean room. Great shopping and easy access to food. Just next to the hotel are shops and we were there each day for a facial, massage and even just got our hair washed and styled for a only $12 [Singapore dollars]. It was no problem cathing a cab into the city or Orchard Road - the longest we ever had to wait for one was 5 minutes. It was an extra bonus to be able to use a free Shuttle bus service to and from the Airport.

I found that Roxy hotel is indeed a value for money.
If you stay here and pay for S$200 per night, you can have quite a large size of the room and bed, and use free internet service and free shuttle bus service between hotel and Airport, which could save you about S$30 (round trip between hotel and airport).

Though, this package does not include breakfast, it is no worry at all because you can easily get a variety of foods available at Parkway Parade, which is just opposite
the hotel (a fer minutes walk from the hotel). You can enjoy local famous like a "Yakun Kaya Toast ", KFC, M'cdonalds, Yoshinoya (Beef bowls) and so on.

Disadavantage could be a distance from the central area and from the nearest MRT station. If it is your first visit to Singapore, you may find it a little inconvenient, but, if you have already visited Singapore before, or you have stayed in Singaproe before, this distance would be no problem.

Irecommend that if you are budget-consciouss and familiar with the locality of Singapore, this hotel is a good choice.

The Hotel is near the Airport and convinient for short stops.
