My family and I stayed in Grand Margherita for 2 nights, I would say that we had a pleasant stay, staff are courteous and helpful and the foods are great. My kids like the Malaysian foods and always looking forward for Malaysian foods everytime we visit the place. The place is a great place to stay considering its easy access to restaurants, banks and shopping malls which really help us move around easily despite the fact that one of my kids is on wheelchair. But one thing that they need to provide is an easy access to the poolside and the restaurant area (external part) for people with disability, like in our case we had to carry the wheelchair going to the poolside (with the help of pool attendant) because my kid wanted to do swimming as part of his physical therapy. Access to people with physical disability should be provided in every amenities so that it's accessible to everybody.

We have stayed 5 nights in this hotel but it is a pity that I was sick during my stay. But certainly will come back again to Kuching. The hotel was alright and very good located. The staff friendly and also willing to help you.

This is the first time me and my family staying in this hotel it is really convenient for the whole family because location of the hotel in the middle of the town to shopping, easy to get tour package and many things.
Therefore in my first preference hotel stay in kuching will be Holiday Inn.

IT HAS BEEN A WONDERFUL STAY IN HOLIDAY INN KUCHING. ITS LOCATION IS FANTASTIC, RIGHT AT THE EDGE OF THE SARAWAK RIVER AND ONE CAN ENJOY THE SIGHTS FROM THE ROOM. THE SLOW FLOWING MEANDERING RIVER HAS SOME THERAPEUTIC EFFECT ON YOU! MORNING AND EVENING WALKS ALONG THE WATERFRONT ARE A MUST AND SO CONVENIENT FROM THE HOTEL.

Ideal location for a short stay in Kuching City - located in a good position on Sarawak River. Staff were very welcoming.

Internet connection should be free for all guest.

Breakfast has too few choices and obviously less attractive when compared to other competing hotels nearby.

The hotel is in a very good location. Facilities are however minimal if you are staying here for leisure . The swimming pool is too small.
Otherwise, everything is ok. Service at the reception is very good.

Everything was up to expectation, nothing to complain about, but it didn't really stand out in any area either.

The only negatives were that we thought the stay should have included breakfast, which it didn't, and the gym was closed when we were there. Actually it wasn't even a gym, just a cardio room.

We were looking for a nice hotel in the center and we found it. We were also looking for a hotel with a sauna and steam in the facility; which was not the case. It took a while for us to realize that there was no sauna or steam or fitness or anything in the Holiday Inn. Actually, they felt justified advertising a sauna because they had an arrangement with the Crown across the street. This is the clarity I had hoped for.

Tom & I travel frequently. We have stayed in many different types of accommodation in many different countries. We enjoyed Kuching Holiday Inn because the staff were friendly, it is well located and like Holiday Inns throughout the world the standard is predictably good. Kuching is particularly affordable.
