Upon arrival the staff member at reception was the most helpful that we have encounterd for a long time as managers in the hospitality industry I only hope that my staff are just as helpful and friendly

We have stayed at this hotel on 3 previous occasions, simply because of the location to the beach, shops, transport, the hotel staff are of excellent skills experience and knowledge, However, sinse our last visit, I have noticed that the hotel has not kept up to the change required which is the T.V. coverage, it only gives you 3 channels to choose from, which we found totally inadequit,

if internet connection would be like WiFi Free Modem system. if all the faucets of the tab could turn the same way to turn off. if all the elevator had the same systems to close the door and to shut the door.

the staff is very friendly and helpgul. The location is very convenient in shopping for fruits and breakfast as there is a supermarket on the ground floor. It is waslking distance to get the bus to Sea World, Movie world and wet and wild.

The Hotel is very conveniently located above Cavil Mall. Very close to everything local, including public transport stops. The rooms are 'bare-bones' basic and they do not stock the room with any amenities. The fridges are empty. This was, however, perfect for my partner and I, as we like to shop for our own food and can usually never find room in the hotel room fridge. The hotel facilities are also skeletal in nature. The gym (and I use that term very loosely) consists of only 2 bikes, 2 treadmills and a rower, most of which are broken in some fashion. If you like to work out, you will be very disappointed. The hotel pool is small, always over crowded and not very clean. It is also not supervised, so if you are lucky enough to actually find a chair, it usually doesn't take long before the constant irritation of unsupervised children moves you on. The hotel lifts are by far the most irritating feature of the hotel and were easily the most constant point of irritation to all the guests. The average wait time on the lifts is in excess of 5 minutes, and during the 'breakfast rush' or 'check-in' times, can be in excess of 20 minutes (I am not kidding). They were the butt of most guest conversations we had. The most redeeming feature for us, with the exception of location, location, location, was the hotel concierge staff. They were easily some of the best we have experienced in our many travels. Diligent, helpful, and most willing.

Room service is commendable. Although, throughout the 5-day stay, DO NOT DISTURB signage was posted outside the door, the cleaner went extra miles by placing all the required ameneties at door step every day without fail. The best of all with addtional NOTE OF APOLOGY. It's truly appreciated. Kudos to the the people......

I already been there for 4 night, and all the night seems good for my family. The best thing in the hotel is Location and large room. The location is near from beach and easily to go everywhere because there is the bus stop near from the hotel. There so many restaurant and shop arround the hotel so you dont need wory about food and activity.

Good location, convenience, friendly staffs. Nothing to complain.

We would highly recommend your facility to anyone.

Staff were very courteous, and the hotel offered us a complimentary bottle of champagne as we had just got married.

The room had a great view of the beach. Great and easy access to all facilities at Surfers Paradise.

Breakfast was worth the cost and plenty of choice with food.

The towel given to me, one of which still have shit stain! I can still feel that on my body. Otherwise, I am pretty satisfied with the hotel.
