Just stayed overnight to catch a cruise ship the next day. The hotel met our expectations for our purposes. The location was convenient for seeing the sights in Auckland and it's proximity to the dock where the ship awaited us was excellent. No taxi needed. We had a good stay. The breakfast buffet was a bit expensive, but we were on a vacation -- why complain? The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is about five minutes from Queen Street. There is good broadband in the rooms. Reception is helpful and friendly. Studio accommodation with cooking facilities keeps costs down. I will stay here again.

Friendly and helpful staff. I liked the gym Well service room. Gud sound proofing. Can do better on room entertainment i.e. TV channels.

A strong odour of garlic, to which my wife is allergic,permeated the reception area at 17.00-18.00,very off putting,and the reason we did not eat in the hotel.

Service at reception was average at best. We were quoted $124 for both nights when booking; paid $140 the 1st night and $124 the 2nd (perhaps they forgot gst!). Seem to be staff who need some customer service training (looked like part timers or temporary workers). Need to be told whether you have been allocated one of the larger or smaller rooms.
