The hotel staff is always courteous and made our stay great and comfy. We got the grand deluxe room so it was spacious with open bathroom concept and nice big bathtub overlooking the city. Beautiful glass wall that lets you have nice sunlight in the day. A bit dissapointed with the pool. It was cold and dirty. I can't see the bottom of the pool (that is how dirty the water was) Hope they can improve it as children will love to spend the time their. Its half indoor kinda pool. Will be back soon...God's willing

This is my second time staying at Grand Borneo as I like the location of the hotel. It is located out of town and it's within the mega mall so no guests will feel bored staying at the hotel. There's a number of restaurants at the mall so for travelers who don't drive, will still be able to get affordable and nice food. However this time, I had to wait for more than 2hours for my room as it was not ready. The room is relatively smaller than the previous room that I stayed and were given on the lower floor. Had hard time sleeping every night as other guests were running around the walkway, talking loudly and banging doors until early morning. Was given the standing shower and the water doesn't flow smoothly after shower therefore it create a mini flood in the standing shower area after each shower. There's also a free shuttle from One Borneo mall to Kota Kinabalu town, it saves guests money on transportation.

Good location for those who like to do shopping. The room is small.

The hotel is really good and value for money, a bit far out from the city but right near the main shopping mall. Unfortunately there was a power cut when I was there and it was very hot for a few hours but apart from that I can't really complain.

Overall, this hotel is a nice place to stay. One problem that you can't avoid is the window view available for the room that I stayed in. For those on holidays they certainlr prefer windows with a scenery view.
