Overall the staff were courteous and helpful particularly on check in. Food Breakfast inculed in the rate was very good and plentiful. Room service dinner - terrible not only did my choice arrive with out all quoted items on the menue but the try was very poorly set salt and pepper missing. I have to say that they did deduct this entree from the cost of the dinner. This hotel is very central to my busness needs therefor i like staying there. i ahve stayed that The Grace quite a few times and in the past always found every thing to my satisfaction.

Staff were friendly and helpfull, hotel was old but had a recent upgrade which managed to keep the best part of the architecure, and use modern materials, art deco style with the mordern colour scheme and fixture.

I thought it was good value, clean and really good location for central CBD.

The only critiscm I have is that there always seemed to be very long queues at the reception somethime 10 people waiting and only 1/2staff attending, But overall very pleased the gym swimming and especially the laundry room were the biggest advantages to me

Excellent hotel worthy of its high rating. The location cannot be surpassed in terms of proximity to the central shopping area, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay and the hotel itself is well-maintained and modern while retaining the gracious character of the original Art Deco building. The service was efficient and courteous and the amenities were very good - we enjoyed the on-site Irish bar and breakfast buffet in The Brasserie was wonderful. The cafe looked very nice and we will try that too next time we stay.

Just about everything at the hotel was excellent (comfort, food, service, etc) and the price was very competitive. However the only criticism I can make, and this is minor, is the Chinese staff at Reception were sometimes hard to understand. Perhaps a little more training with English diction would help.

Receptionists are not very friendly. They only supply the bath gel when we requested.
