Ordered a la carte breakfast first morning after arrival in coffee shop: service slow and indifferent, 10 minutes delay in delivering and cold, dish had to be replaced. A totally disappointing experience. We did not go back for breakfast again.

the buffet lunch was absolutely delicious ... and i thoroughly enjoyed the piano music and the view over the swimming pool - a very relaxing and luxurious experience.
when i stayed at goodwood park years ago i remember the entrance was in the old original building, and i was disappointed at how empty and neglected it now looks. the new entrance has none of the charm and ambience of the original building and i am hoping that this beautiful old building will be restored to its former glory and used again as the charming and dignified entrance to the hotel, and one of singapore's landmarks.
