Ordered a la carte breakfast first morning after arrival in coffee shop: service slow and indifferent, 10 minutes delay in delivering and cold, dish had to be replaced. A totally disappointing experience. We did not go back for breakfast again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my day room at the Goodwood Park Hotel. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of natural light and a good view. The staff were courteous, helpful and professional.

The buffet lunch was absolutely delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the piano music and the view over the swimming pool - a very relaxing and luxurious experience.

When I stayed at Goodwood Park years ago I remember the entrance was in the old original building, and I was disappointed at how empty and neglected it now looks. The new entrance has none of the charm and ambience of the original building and I am hoping that this beautiful old building will be restored to its former glory and used again as the charming and dignified entrance to the hotel, and one of Singapore's landmarks.

This hotel is in a class of its own for service and location. We will definitely return. Charming view and balcony and all amenities. We would have liked a few more teabags!

We were a little disappointed by the service, as we have stayed here before and found it to be much better. Surprised that the bar staff had to look up the ingredients for a brandy alexander. We did not swim as we felt we were in a goldfish bowl. Preferred the old style Goodwood Park prior to the changes. Milk in the fridge for coffee and tea making would have been nice.

I have travelled to many of the best hotels in the world and I think this is the best I have stayed in. Fantastic service, charming people, huge very quiet and elegant rooms and facilities. I will return for a much longer stay as soon as possible.

Could and should be excellent. Marred by the room and the somewhat casual approach to service. Disco beneath room - loud music until 4 am Bathroom very small. Shower small and in poor condition. Aircon always too cold.
