Rooms are well designed for traveller comfort but they need to change the bed.

The room wasn't very clean - surfaces were dirty, carpet stained and the tiles in the bathroom looked like they hadn't been cleaned.

Unpleasant odor emanating from bedroom carpet/ mattress (? stale sweat/urine)- did not dissipate during 8 night stay.Lounge furniture visibly grubby. Fire alarm testing throughout the week starting at 9am and continuing to lunchtime very intrusive (? why necessary on a 3 times per day basis, when seemingly not done at all on weekend days. FYI staff used dishwasher for 2-3 items (on superwash!)

Light was not working in hallway. (room 825).

Check the prices at the Novotel and on a par with the Oaks within 20 to 30 dollars. Room is becoming dated. Needs refurbishment. Will stay at Novotel next time.

The hotel is great the only fault is the noice that echo's between floor levels due to the design, but otherwise I think it is a great place to stay and would happily stay there again & intend to do so. I upgraded to a one bedroom apartment as when I made the booking I asked for a view. I wasn't told studio's did not have a view. If I had know this when making the booking I would have upgraded at the time of booking The upgraded room was lovely and the receptionist Crissy was very helpfull !!! When I asked for the upgrade. She was also very friendly and possessed the most outstanding interpersonal skills of all the staff on the desk during my stay

Your front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. apartment was rather spartan and bland - needs more decoration to make it inviting and contemporary.

The standard of the fixtures was high, and the appartment was spacious and airy. Good extras like cable TV and a hi-fi system. Only criticism is that it was very short of crockery for a self-catering apartment (eg only 2 mugs, one badly chipped). bed too soft

Had requested best room available and if this is what i got, then what a dump. The carpets were filthy and worn out, the furnishings were cheap and old and the walls were disgusting

The room had very poor lighting in particular no bedside lights.We would prefer better tv options.

I realise it is a converted Woolstore, but noise is a bit of a problem with wooden walkways and Unit doors very close to each other. Good to have cooking and laundry facilities.

Noise from courtyard excessive on our second night so we moved. Management apologetic. Rooms and beds abut courtyard so this is an ongoing problem.

Room wasn't serviced on one day Bedroom a little cramped, could have stolen some of the kitchen/lounge area when it was built but too late now!

Remote controls didnt work for the TV. No clock in the bedroom.

It would be good if the information about where to purchase fruit and vegetables close by (Harris St.) and location of full groceries (World Center/ Coles/David Jones) Very handy to convention center.

the divisions between apartments looked a little prison like especially on the lower levels.

Lighting very poor. Dishwasher didn't work. Couldn't turn on the stereo at all. Hallways on first floor cluttered with construction stuff -- probably unavoidable.
