The Reception staaff were very courteous and polite. The rooms were neat and tidy. However, the bathrooms require some makeover as the showers do not flow properly and there is inadequate provision of clothes hooks and soap dishes. Location was fine and taxi availability was good. Room rates should have been a bit lower than was the case when we visited.

My stay at Golden Sands with my friend was pleasant. Good location, facilities, food and staff service was very efficient. However, we did find a tiny problem finding sockets to plug in our hair straighters and access the mirror. Also, there is tea and coffee making facilities in the room but have to buy the milk for AED 13 + 10%service charge (shoking)!!
Overall, good stay :)

I recently attended the Dubai 7's and had booked a twin single bed room - I was travelling with my daughter - for a couple of nights.
Althouh I had booked the separate beds when I arrived - even though I had checked before at reception - they put me in a room with a doule bed. I ended upsleeping on the "spare bed" made up from the armchair. Not only was this not what we paid for and uncomfortable - it also stopped us using the chair/table area because the bed was there.

Golden Sands (Or their booking agents) should respond to e-mail, I had asked what Golden Sands block I was booked into. It saves me having a taxi around trying to find the correct building.

very pleasant stay

this was our first visit to Dubai, we thought the hotel was perfect for a family. We are coming back in Dec and will definately stay at golden sands number 10 again. We were very impressed with the room and its location and of course the cost

I was quite impressed with Golden Sands. The room was great, and the breakfast was excellent. I will definately be staying at Golden Sands for all my trips to Dubai.

Well, my overall experience was great - at first not knowing Dubai and where to stay - and then found the Golden Sands. Having a studio apartment was great - had 2 single beds in ours and quite roomy for 2 people - the washer/dryer a real plus especially with the heat of Dubai, and once we got all the amenities working - it was a delight to stay here. They do not have hairdryers in the rooms but you can request one - so that was ok. We ddin't use the pool but it look very nice - had too much other stuff to do than sit around! The breakfast is excellent - so definitely get that included if you can. It is walking distance to one of the big malls. Taxis are plentiful and you can go anywhere in them. With what the 4 & 5 star hotels were charging - this is a great inexpensive alternative - to save some money and spend elsewhere. The staff are great and all speak english - and we used the currency exchange at the front desk which was better than other places. I would so stay here again and will !! Loved Dubai.

There are very few hotels in this world today which make you feel comfortable and Golden Sands was the one that made you a part of their home.

This was a great place to crash cheap for a few days. Room was nice. Had refrig, stove for cheaper eating. Stayed in Building #5 had a pool on 1st floor and on the roof. Also the restaurant was open 24/7. Staff was friendly and helpful. You can change out money at the front desk but you will get a little better deal at the banks in the airport. There is a club and sports bar in walking distance open to 3am just ask about it at the front desk. Would stay here again for sure.

WiFI available in the coffee lounge was unusable. Hotel of this standard should have good WiFi Connectivity.

Internet connection does not allow the use of internet messaging applications. It is incredibly ridiculous in this day and age for a "business" hotel to do.

they have free but very slow intrnet speed

my room had poor water power and the water temperature was low. there was enough facilities in my room except hair dryer.
