The hotel is well located if you need to be around Malate area, but is a taxi ride away from anywhere else. Taxis are abundant and easy to arrange from the front of the hotel. A few restaurants within safe walking distance. Being just across the road from Baywalk and Manila bay is a plus and gives you a sense that you are not in the middle of an urban jungle! The hotel itself is well maintained, fairly new and very tidy. Room is of a good size as is the bathroom. A couple of annoyances though. Firstly, coffee, tea, sugar and bottled water is provided free only on your first day of stay. Thereafter, you pay for extra coffee sachets etc; A bit penny pinching which is a pity as it spoils an otherwise favourable impression of the hotel. Rooms are not carpeted (normal in the tropics), but with thin floors, you can hear all the movements in the room above. Breakfast is a veritable feast - good quality, the buffet is changed daily, and you can eat as much as you want! We had a couple of minor room maintenance issues which were fixed very promptly. All in all an enjoyable stay.
