I checked in to a non-smoking room- which obviously had been used by a person who smoked. They were unable to change the room (1 am) because the hotel was supposedly sold out. They sent someone with an air freshner and sprayed the room leaving a nauseating scent in the room. 5 minutes later the front desk called and told me that they found a room on another floor. I finally got settled in by 2am.

Also visit Peoples park- a throwback to the past when singapore was still a budget distination, The room is large and clean as well as the bathroom. Where I stayed I had a nice view of the city.

The rest of the stay I had the opportunity to stay in a much better, cleaner and nicer hotel for the same price.
